MOSCOW, May 24. Engineering units of the Russian Armed Forces are clearing the coast of the Sea of Azov near the port of Mariupol with the use of Uran-6 robots, follows from the published video of the Ministry of Defense. As explained in the military department, in parallel with the territory of the Azovstal plant, Russian sapper units began demining sections of the Azov Sea coast adjacent to the port from explosive objects. Russian sappers with manual mine detectors on the coast, as well as the passages of the Uran-6 robot. With the help of a trawl fixed in front of it, it neutralizes the installed mines. «It was my group that worked along the coast, from the city of Urzuf towards Mariupol, we walked 50 km … There was no mining of the area, they found ammunition left after the battles, it was here that mortar mines were found, 120 caliber — more than 100 units, fuses for them,» one of the engineers of the International Mine Action Center detachment said. All found shells and mines are blown up on the spot by overhead charges.
