The Supreme Council (parliament) of the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on Friday at an extraordinary meeting approved Alexander Rozenberg's candidacy for the post of head of government, proposed by the head of the republic Vadim Krasnoselsky, the parliamentary press service reported. The Council considered and agreed with the President's proposal to appoint Alexander Rozenberg to the post of Prime Minister,» the report says. Rosenberg is 55 years old, he was born in the Vinnitsa region of Ukraine, graduated from the Chisinau Agricultural Institute, and before being appointed Prime Minister, he headed the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
