MOSCOW, May 28. Petersburg Zenit may abandon the idea of acquiring a goalkeeper Ilya Lantratov's Khimki due to an incident with a ball-boy in a match against the SKA-Khabarovsk football club, a source familiar with the situation said. On Wednesday, Khimki lost to SKA-Khabarovsk (0:1) on the road the first play-off match for the right to play in the Russian Premier League (RPL) in the 2022/23 season. Khimki goalkeeper Ilya Lantratov pushed the ball-boy in the second half, who was in no hurry to return the ball to the game. Earlier, Roman Teryushkov, a member of the supervisory board of the Moscow Region club, said that Zenit was interested in acquiring Lantratov, but did not make official proposals. The source notes that Lantratov's behavior in the ball-boy incident greatly puzzled the leadership of Zenit. After this episode, «blue-white-blue» may abandon the idea of acquiring a goalkeeper.
