«Khimki» retained a residence permit in the RPL

KHIMKI (Moscow Region), May 28. Footballers from Khimki near Moscow won «SKA-Khabarovsk» in the return play-off and retained their place in the Russian Premier League (RPL). The meeting in Khimki ended with a score of 3:0. The winners were scored by Denis Glushakov (8th minute, penalty), Reziuan Mirzov (45+2) and Alexander Dolgov (50). Mirzov also missed a penalty in the 88th minute. In the first game, Khimki lost 0-1 on the road. However, according to the sum of two meetings, the club retained its registration in the RPL and will perform in the 2022/23 season. In the Russian Championship, Khimki took 13th place in the standings. «SKA-Khabarovsk» became the fourth in the championship of the Football National League (FNL).
