Difficulties in the global oil markets, growth in demand for fuel and, possibly, a shortage of diesel fuel and gasoline in Europe are not excluded in the summer, the head of the International Energy Agency (IEA) said in an interview with Spiegel Fatih Birol. «Next summer, there may be problems in the oil markets. When the peak holiday season begins in Europe and the United States, the demand for fuel will increase. Then there may be a shortage: for example, with diesel fuel, gasoline or kerosene, especially in Europe,» he said. Birol' depends not only on the supply of crude oil from abroad, but also on the import of petroleum products.
