MOSCOW, May 31. The World Boxing Organization (WBO) has appointed a mandatory title fight between the Australian Tim Tszyu and the absolute world champion in the first middleweight (up to 69.9 kg) American Jermell Charlo, according to the organization's website. The boxing teams were informed of this decision on Tuesday morning. The parties have 20 days to reach an agreement on organizing the fight. Earlier, Charlo insulted Tszyu, who is the mandatory contender for the WBO belt, and said that it was too early for the Australian to fight him. Tim Tszyu (full name — Timofey) is 27 years old. In the professional ring, he won 21 victories, 15 of them by knockout, and did not suffer a single defeat. The Australian is the son of the former absolute world boxing champion Konstantin Tszyu. 32-year-old Charlo is a World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA Super), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and WBO world champion. He has 35 wins (19 by knockout), one draw and one loss.
