Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak earlier said that the Ukrainian parliament had voted to dismiss Denisova. Even before the vote, the Servant of the People party of Volodymyr Zelensky indicated that the collection of signatures on this issue was associated with her failure to fulfill her duties in organizing humanitarian corridors and exchanging prisoners. Pavel Frolov, a deputy from the Servant of the People, explained that «the incomprehensible concentration of the Ombudsman's media work on numerous details of 'sexual crimes committed in an unnatural way', which she could not confirm with evidence, only harmed Ukraine.» Denisova herself promised to challenge the decision in court.
