File photoNEW DELHI, Jun 3 A major fire and explosions broke out at Deepak Nitrite's chemical plant in India's western state of Gujarat, injuring seven people, the Press Trust of India reported, citing local authorities. «The fire has engulfed part of Deepak Nitrite's chemical plant in an industrial estate on the outskirts of Vadodara in the state of Gujarat, seven workers have been hospitalized, and 700 people living nearby have been moved to safety,» authorities said. The Times of India writes that explosions were heard from the scene within a few kilometers.
