MOSCOW, June 4 the second match of the final series of the Eastern Conference playoffs of the National Hockey League (NHL) with the New York Rangers. The meeting, which took place in New York, ended with a score of 3:2 (2:1, 0:0, 1:1 ) in favor of the owners of the site. As part of the winners, goals were scored by K'Andre Miller (6th minute), Kaapo Kakko (18) and Mika Zibanejad (42). Russian striker Nikita Kucherov (3) and Nick Paul (58) scored at Tampa. Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin. Among active players, only Pittsburgh Penguins forwards Evgeni Malkin (81) and Sidney Crosby (75) scored more points in the majority. Kucherov also scored an assist in the match against the Rangers. Tampa defender Mikhail Sergachev made three shots on target. Lightning goalkeeper Andrey Vasilevsky saved 25 shots out of 28. Rangers forward Artemy Panarin made five shots on target. Blueshirts goalie Igor Shesterkin saved 29 shots out of 31. The score in the best-of-four series was 2-0 in favor of the Rangers. The third match will take place in Tampa on June 5th. For the first time since April 2019, the Lightning have lost two consecutive series meetings.
