MOSCOW, June 4 Singer Shakira confirmed parting ways with Barcelona defender Gerard Pique. The media previously published information that the singer found out about the betrayal of the football player.
"We regret to confirm that we are parting. It's all for the well-being of our children. They are our top priority. Please respect privacy. Thank you for your understanding", the singer said in a statement released by EFE.
Piquet and Shakira have been in a relationship since 2011. Officially, their marriage was not formalized. During their relationship, the couple had two children.
