MOSCOW, June 6 that the president of the organization, Vladislav Tretyak, was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky. Tretyak was awarded on the basis of the decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin No. 354 dated June 6, 2022. Tretyak has been the head of the FHR since April 2006, and was re-elected to this post for the fourth time in May. Tretyak is a ten-time world champion, nine-time European champion, a member of the NHL Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto (1989), the best hockey player of the 20th century according to the International Ice Hockey Federation, a member of the IIHF Hall of Fame (1997). In April, Tretiak celebrated his 70th birthday.
