Earlier it was reported that the leader of the party «There is such people» (ETH) Slavi Trifonov announced his withdrawal from the party coalition. As part of this decision, Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov and Deputy Prime Minister Grozdan Karadzhov have already resigned. In accordance with the constitution, Genchovska will act as foreign minister until a new minister is appointed. Prime Minister Kiril Petkov has previously said he hopes to keep a minority government even after the collapse of the coalition. In Bulgaria, in 2021, early parliamentary elections were held three times due to the impossibility of forming a government based on their results. It was only after the elections in November that the politicians managed to form a government coalition.
