MOSCOW, June 12 The Amsterdam Civil Court ordered the Dutch footballer of Spartak Moscow Quincy Promesa to pay compensation for stabbing his cousin, AD reports. The amount of compensation has not yet been determined. Promes will also pay legal costs. «On Wednesday, a civil court effectively found that Promes had stabbed my client and that this constituted a wrongful act for which he should pay damages,» Yehudi Moshkovich, a lawyer for Promes' cousin, Yehudi Moshkovich, said. A criminal case was initiated on suspicion of involvement in an armed attack and stabbing. The incident occurred in Abcoude (Netherlands) at the end of July 2020. Promes was arrested on December 13, 2020, and on December 15 it was announced that he had been released from custody, but was in the status of a suspect.
