Natalia Garth was not included in the new lineup Executive Committee of the International Luge Federation (FIL), said Stanislav Tyurin, Executive Director of the Russian Luge Federation. Garth was previously a member of the FIL Executive Committee, but on April 8 at the FIL Congress she was deprived of this status. The Luge Federation of Russia (FSSR), which has been headed by Garth since 2012, filed an appeal. «Unfortunately, Natalia Sergeevna Garth did not get the required number of votes of delegates to be elected to the executive committee of the International Luge Federation,» Tyurin said.
