Archival photoSIMFEROPOL, June 21 Crimea has launched projects to integrate with the liberated Kherson and Zaporozhye regions of Ukraine, Crimea's permanent representative to the President of Russia, Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government Georgy Muradov told RIA Novosti. According to him, between the regions have already established close trade and economic ties, restored road and freight transport links. The issue of launching a passenger bus and railway connection is being addressed. «The creation of transport routes will ensure the uninterrupted supply of the liberated territories with food, medicine and humanitarian aid. It will also strengthen interregional ties in various fields,» the official emphasized. During the special operation, the armed forces took control of the Kherson region and the Azov part of the Zaporozhye region in southern Ukraine. Civil-military administrations are working in the regions, the ruble has begun to circulate, and Russian TV channels and radio stations are broadcasting. Both regions have announced plans to become part of Russia.A referendum in the Kherson region is planned for the fall, authorities saidA military special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine began on 24 February. Vladimir Putin called its goal «the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.» The main goal in the department was the liberation of Donbass.
