Also, according to a security officer, the television center was subjected to heavy shelling earlier. At the moment, television broadcasting in Donetsk is operating normally. At the same time, Chebotarev told RIA Novosti that the equipment had to be evacuated from the damaged television center in the Petrovsky district under shelling. «The equipment was evacuated, in fact, under shelling … The building was damaged, the power substation. The surviving equipment was reconnected from other places so that at least there was digital broadcasting,» Chebotarev said.
