MOSCOW, June 24 Russian judokas won two silvers and one bronze in the first the day of the Grand Slam tournament in Ulaanbaatar. In the women's competition in the weight category up to 57 kg, Daria Kurbonmamadova lost in the final to the Mongolian athlete Enkhriilen Lkhagvatogoo and took silver. Alesya Kuznetsova also took second place in the category up to 52 kg, losing in the final to the Uzbek judoka Diyora Keldiyorova. In men in the weight category up to 66 kg, Russian Yago Abuladze defeated the Frenchman Valid Khyar and became the bronze medalist of the tournament. The International Judo Federation (IJF) allowed athletes from Russia and Belarus to take part in international tournaments in a neutral status. Because of this, the Judo Federation of Ukraine (FDU) announced the decision not to take part in all tournaments under the auspices of the organization.
