MOSCOW, June 25 Head of the Russian Weightlifting Federation (FTAR) Maxim Agapitov withdrew his candidacy for the presidency of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF). The organization's elective congress takes place on Saturday in Albanian Tirana. In total, 12 candidates applied for the position of president, 10 of whom decided to withdraw from the elections. In addition, Agapitov, who is a member of the executive committee of the organization, claims the positions of vice president, general secretary and member of the IWF executive committee.
