Making a digital fan card to attend matches The Russian Premier League (RPL) will begin on July 4, this can be done electronically in your personal account on the State Services, the release says. The relevant regulations have been signed by the Russian government and are planned for publication. Previously, a list of official sports competitions was approved where the identification of spectators, participants and staff by means of a fan card is mandatory. It includes RPL matches, as well as the final of the Russian Football Cup. Initially, the card will be needed to attend RPL home matches at stadiums in Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara and Sochi. By the end of the year, other cities where RPL clubs are located — Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khimki, Grozny, Krasnodar, Orenburg and Voronezh will connect to the system. All participants, spectators, guests and staff, as well as media representatives will have to have a card. The fan card is issued once through the State Services and remains in the personal account.It is used when buying tickets and season tickets, which will automatically appear in the personal account in a special section.When entering the stadium, it will be enough to scan the QR code of the selected ticket at the State Services, without presenting any additional documents,» said Oleg Pak, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia.
