MOSCOW, June 28 Long jump silver medalist at the 2017 World Championships Russian Daria Klishina gave birth to a son in Miami (USA). The 31-year-old athlete posted a photo with a newborn baby on Instagram (Meta (Facebook and Instagram social networks) is banned in Russia as extremist). The All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF) congratulated Klishina on the birth of her son in her Telegram channel. In 2016, Klishina became the only Russian athlete admitted to the Olympic Games in Brazil. At the 2020 Tokyo Games, she was among ten Russian athletes admitted to the competition, but failed to finish the qualifying tournament due to injury. Klishina is a two-time European indoor champion, winner of the 2013 Universiade in Kazan, and also a bronze medalist of the European Championship 2014.
