FSB detained «citizens of the USSR» from the Volgograd region in the case of an «extremist community»

The FSB officers detained suspects in organizing an extremist community in the Volgograd region (Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code). This was reported to RIA Novosti by the press service of the department's regional department.

“Members of this organization at their meetings discuss issues and preparations for a forcible seizure of power using firearms and flammable mixtures,” the FSB says.

How many people were detained and where they were from, the service does not specify. According to V1.ru, among the detainees was a 72-year-old «former head of agricultural organizations.»

The FSB published footage from the searches.
