The Border Police of Georgia allowed a blogger from Kabardino-Balkaria, Insa Oguz, known as Insa Lander, to enter the country for transit to Lithuania. The blogger herself spoke about this, Alena Bachia, the creator of the Tbilisi Life telegram channel, gave details.
Insa Lander escaped from house arrest and crossed the Russian border on June 12, but the Georgian authorities refused her entry because of a criminal persecution in Russia under a terrorist article. From that time on, she spent the night at the border checkpoint.
On the same day, when this became known, the Lithuanian Ambassador to Georgia, Andrius Kalindra, promised to give Lander a visa if the Georgian authorities would give her permission to enter.
