The Russian Federation is creating a food crisis by shelling grain terminals and stealing Ukrainian grain. The OP called 3 steps to counter Moscow's actions.
Russia continues to stir up a food crisis in the world by blocking Ukrainian ports and shelling grain terminals. The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (OP) Andriy Yermak wrote about this in Telegram.
According to the head of the OP, Russia creates the food crisis artificially.
« our ports, shelling grain terminals and stealing grain. She occupied part of our territories, preventing the sowing campaign there,» Yermak emphasized.
Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak named three steps to prevent a food crisis in the world:
1. Provide military convoys for our tankers to take grain out of ports.
2. Promptly work on strengthening sanctions, both individual against the elites, and against the energy sector and the banking system of the Russian Federation. The gas embargo is a priority.
3. Weapons to liberate the territories, more weapons and as soon as possible to stop any plans of the Russian Federation to move further and knock them out of our land.
In his opinion, the world community should take three important steps:
- provide military convoys for Ukrainian tankers to take grain out of ports.
- faster tighten sanctions against the business elites, energy and banking sectors of Russia. The priority should be the gas embargo.
- provide more weapons and as soon as possible so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberate the temporarily occupied territories and prevent the advance of the RF Armed Forces.
Recall that the Russian invaders destroyed Ukraine's second-largest grain terminal in Nikolaev.
The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that this attack contradicts the promises of Russian President Vladimir Putin to ensure safe passage for merchant ships from the ports of Ukraine.
< p>June 6, it became known about the coordination of the scheme for unblocking the ports of Odessa between Ukraine, the Russian Federation and Turkey. Ankara said that the road map should be approved on June 8-9 during the visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to Turkey.
