Minnesota traded Fiala to Los Angeles


MOSCOW, Jun 30 The Minnesota Wild have traded Swiss forward Kevin Fiala to Los Angeles Kings, according to the website of the National Hockey League (NHL). In exchange, the team from Saint Paul received the first round choice in the 2022 draft (19th overall) and American guard Brock Faber. Fiala is 25 years old. He joined Minnesota from the Nashville Predators in 2019. In the last season of the NHL regular season, the striker scored 85 points (33 goals + 52 assists), setting personal bests in all three indicators. He may become a restricted free agent on July 13. Faber, 19, was selected by the Kings 45th overall in the 2020 draft. He played for Team USA at the Beijing Olympics and had one assist in four games.
