MOSCOW, June 29 Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic advanced to the third round of Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam tournament this season. In the second round match, the current winner of Wimbledon, seeded under the first number, outplayed Australian Tanasi Kokkinakis with a score of 6:1, 6:4, 6:2. The opponents spent two hours on the court. Djokovic's next opponent will be his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic (25th seeded). Wimbledon, held on grass courts, will end on July 10. In April, the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) refused to allow Russian and Belarusian tennis players to the tournament because of the situation in Ukraine. In response, in May, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) decided not to award ranking points to competitors.
