MOSCOW, June 30 Russian MP Motorsport Formula 3 team driver Alexander Smolyar will not be able to compete at the British Grand Prix, according to the team's Twitter page. The Russian pilot will miss the stage at the Silverstone circuit due to visa problems, he will be replaced by Romanian Philip Ugran. In the overall standings, Smolyar is sixth with 28 points. The stage in the UK will be held on July 1-3. In April, the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) refused to allow Russian and Belarusian tennis players to the tournament because of the situation in Ukraine. It was noted that the decision is connected with the recommendation of the UK government. The International Automobile Federation (FIA), in turn, banned Russian drivers from participating in competitions under the flag of their country.
