MOSCOW, July 2 Soviet figure skater Stanislav Leonovich died in France at the age of 63 years, according to the website of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) with reference to the figure skater's student Sarah Abitbol. Over the past years, Leonovich has trained single skaters and sports couples in France. The causes of death are not specified. «The Russian Figure Skating Federation expresses its deepest condolences to the family, friends and relatives of Stanislav Leonovich. Blessed memory,» the federation said. Throughout his career, Leonovich competed in pair skating: first with Tatyana Muratova, then with Marina Pestova, together with whom he once became a silver and bronze medalist of the World and European Championships.
