It would be much easier for the Bulgarian government (if it decides something else) to think about the Russian ultimatum to cancel the expulsion of our diplomats if the Bulgarian diplomats in Moscow were already packing things,» Klishas wrote in his Telegram channel. Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko warned that if Bulgaria did not reconsider the decision to expel Russian diplomats, Moscow would raise the issue of maintaining a diplomatic presence. He stressed that the Bulgarian side is responsible for the possible radical consequences of the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Bulgaria.Retired Prime Minister Kiril Petkov at the end of June announced the expulsion from Bulgaria of 70 Russian diplomats who were allegedly working for the special services, using diplomatic activity as cover.
