MOSCOW, 3 Jul. Sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev in his Telegram channel shared his opinion with subscribers about the situation with the detention of the goalkeeper of the Russian national hockey team Ivan Fedotov. On July 1, it became known that Fedotov was detained and taken to the draft board due to draft evasion. There he became ill and was taken to the hospital. Last night, he left the medical facility, currently his whereabouts are unknown.
"Looking at the story with Fedotov, promising young players will go overseas at the first opportunity! Are we getting it?" Guberniev wrote.
Last season, 25-year-old Fedotov won the Gagarin Cup with CSKA and won the silver medal at the Beijing Olympics. The hockey player should start the new season as part of the Philadelphia National Hockey League club.
