MOSCOW, Jul 3 American swimmer Ryan Lochte auctioned 6 out of 12 of his Olympic medals, reports As. Lochte won six gold, as well as three silver and bronze Olympic medals. The 37-year-old athlete decided to get rid of the second and third place awards, placing them in three lots, taking into account where they were won. The first included three medals from London 2012, the second — two medals from Beijing 2008, and the third — a medal from the 2004 Games in Athens. The American plans to get $80,000 for them. The auction will run until July 21st.
