MOSCOW, Jul 4 Denmark national football team defender Andreas Christensen has signed a contract with Barcelona, according to the website of the Spanish club. The agreement with the 26-year-old player is valid until June 30, 2026. The release clause for the Dane is 500 million euros. The official presentation of the player will take place on Thursday. Christensen became the second rookie «blue garnet» in the summer transfer window. On Monday, Barcelona announced the signing of Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessier, who previously played for Italy's AC Milan. In recent years, Christensen played for London's Chelsea, whose contract expired at the end of June. He made 160 appearances for the Blues first team, scoring two goals and providing two assists. He has two goals in 57 caps for Denmark.
