The Fan ID registration system failed on the first day of work. This is reported by «Championat» with reference to the complaints of journalists and fans.
Sports journalists and ordinary fans complain about problems with obtaining Fan ID. For example, journalist Roman Guskov posted a screenshot of a rejected application.
As Chempionat notes, the system for issuing a Fan ID at Gosuslugi rejects all incoming applications. Many of those who tried to get a FAN ID indicate that they had no administrative violations or detentions.
ID. Will fans get into the stands after the adoption of the FAN ID law
The Fan ID law was adopted at the end of 2021, it entered into force in June. Fans of almost all RPL clubs refused to issue a fan ID, pointing out the repressiveness and lack of transparency of the initiative.
Fan ID can only be obtained at the State Services, and they can refuse to receive it due to past violations, a court ban on attending matches or police information about a fan's «intention» to «disturb public order» during a game.
The law also required players, coaches and club staff to issue a Fan ID, and match organizers to identify both spectators and «participants official sports competition” and “other persons involved in the competition”.
