Politician Aleksey Navalny, who is in the strict regime colony No. 6 in Vladimir, said on Twitter that he was not allowed to call his relatives.
2/8 All other convicts in the entire squad have regular calls to relatives, and they don't let me.
— We have such a daily routine, you are to blame.
And the eyes are sly, satisfied. And everything is very meaningful — you can immediately see: the order of Moscow.— Alexey Navalny (@navalny) July 4, 2022
According to the oppositionist, other prisoners regularly call their relatives. He also appoints time for conversations with loved ones so that they cannot take place. For example, when a lawyer comes to Navalny, they do not let him in for several hours. Then, when the time comes for calls, the defender is allowed in, and the oppositionist is told: “You have a call on schedule. You can refuse to meet with a lawyer.”
In mid-June, Navalny was transferred to IK-6 in Vladimir. This happened after another verdict was handed down to the politician: the Lefortovo court, at an off-site meeting in Pokrovskaya IK-2, sentenced the oppositionist to 9 years in a strict regime colony. Navalny was found guilty of fraudulently collecting donations and contempt of court in another criminal case involving defamation of veteran Ignat Artemenko. A week after arriving in the new colony, Navalny received his first reprimand, allegedly for “violating the dress code.” -context-cite__image» alt=»1″ />«Don't worry, I'll be out to freedom no later than the spring of 2051.» A guide to Navalny's criminal cases
