The officer on duty at military unit No. 59075 in Severodvinsk, where the training center of the Russian Navy is located, said that he had no information about the presence of hockey player Ivan Fedotov in the unit. «I have no information about Fedotov being in the unit,» said on duty. On Friday, the media reported that Fedotov was detained in St. Petersburg by the military registration and enlistment office. On Sunday, the goalkeeper's lawyer Alexei Ponomarev said that his client was sent, presumably, to Severomorsk, but there was no connection with him. On Monday, a number of media outlets, citing sources, reported that the athlete was in Severodvinsk. Earlier, a source said that the goalkeeper faces up to two years in prison under article 328 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — for evading military service.
