The Basmanny District Court of Moscow dismissed the former head of the Ufa headquarters of Alexei Navalny, Lilia Chanysheva, who had been arrested in the case of an “extremist community” (Part 1 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code), for another three months. This was reported in her telegram channel, which is run by friends of the oppositionist.
The arrest was extended until October 9.

At the end of September last year, the Investigative Committee opened another criminal case against Navalny and his associates, deciding that their activities over the past seven years were illegal. On November 10, after searches were carried out at the homes of activists from Bashkortostan and Kuzbass, Chanysheva was sent to a pre-trial detention center. Later, Rosfinmonitoring entered her into the register of terrorists and extremists.
During the time that Chanysheva was under arrest, the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee removed her lawyer Vladimir Voronin from her case, and the staff of the Moscow women's pre-trial detention center-6 did not allow new defenders.
