Republican Congresswoman Victoria Spartz sent a letter to President Joe Biden asking him to hold a briefing on the audits carried out against Volodymyr Zelensky's chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, because of his possible «ties with Russia.» «Based on various intelligence reports, actions taken by Mr. Yermak in Ukraine, and his alleged ties to Russia, Congress urgently needs to obtain this information in order to confirm or deny various serious allegations,» the press release says. Spartz stressed that, given the material involvement of the United States in the Ukrainian crisis, Congress should be accountable to the Americans for helping Kiev. Congresswoman recalled the appointment of Yermak Oleg Tatarov as his deputy for combating corruption. According to Spartz, the latter did not allow the work of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office for more than a year. The parliamentarian drew attention to the fact that Tatarov himself was under investigation by NABU before his appointment to the post, and also held a high position in the police under ex-president Viktor Yanukovych. » /> In the US, they offered to check Zelensky's accounts
