The Ryazan garrison military court accepted the claim of a private of military unit No. 41450 to invalidate the stamp that he was affixed to his military ID because of his refusal to travel to Ukraine. His defender Maxim Grebenyuk told about it in the telegram channel «Military Ombudsman».
The seal that the private received says: “Prone to betrayal, lies and deceit. He refused to participate in a special military operation on the territory of the LPR, DPR and Ukraine.”
“During the preparation of the case, the judge asked how this seal interferes with my client’s life, to which he replied that after his dismissal from service, it became harder to get a job. We consider this seal absolutely illegal and violating the rights of a serviceman. We will demand that this record be canceled,” the lawyer wrote. The court session on the administrative claim was scheduled for July 20.
Earlier, Maxim Grebenyuk reported that the same non-statutory seal head the personnel department of the 136th separate guards motorized rifle brigade with a deployment in Dagestan put a contract soldier dismissed due to unwillingness to fight in Ukraine on the service record.
The lawyer explained to Mediazone that such recordings “are aimed solely at insulting, humiliating a serviceman, making others disrespectful, in order to complicate his life in civilian life when applying for a job or in law enforcement agencies . About nothing else, except for the impotence of the command to make any other punishment, this stamp does not say <…>. Because they can’t do anything else, they can’t initiate a criminal case, they can’t even put them in a guardhouse,” Grebenyuk said.
