ELISTA, Jul 12 Russian driver Nikita Mazepin showed the second result in the sixth stage rally-marathon «Silk Way» in the category of all-terrain vehicles (T3). The length of the special stage (Grozny — Elista route) was 484.99 km. Anastasia Nifontova became its winner, the result of which was 6 hours 13 minutes 3 seconds. The second result was shown by Mazepin (lag 8 minutes 23 seconds), the third — Sergey Karyakin (+13.48). Vladimir Vasiliev won the victory in the SUV category (T1) in a BMW with a result of 5 hours 14 minutes 51 seconds. The second was Denis Krotov (+20.08) in Mini. Mazepin is a former Formula 1 driver. He spent the only season in the «royal races» last season, but never finished in the points. Due to the situation in Ukraine, the American Haas team terminated the agreement with the pilot, as well as with the title sponsor, the Russian company Uralkali.
