Pskov math teacher fined 30,000 rubles for photo with «No to war» poster

The Pechora District Court of the Pskov Region fined 61-year-old math teacher and deputy Lyubov Zhiltsova 30,000 rubles for a photo with an anti-war poster. This was reported to the correspondent of «Sever.Realii» in the press service of the court.

Zhiltsova was found guilty of «discrediting» the Russian army (part 1 of article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The reason for the protocol was a photo with a poster «No to war» against the background of the school blackboard. Zhiltsova posted the photo on her VKontakte page on February 25, the day after Russian troops invaded Ukraine.

At the same time, in May, the Palkinsky District Court of the Pskov Region did not punish the teacher and dismissed her case for lack of corpus delicti, but the police appealed solution. Then Zhiltsova did not admit her guilt.

“Against the background of this situation, already in March I was admitted to the hospital with a heart attack. The whole world turned upside down for me. Every year I prepare events for May 9, write the script, rehearse … And how can I talk about this with children now? I could not be silent, it burned me, ”Zhiltsova explained the decision to take a picture with a poster.
