MOSCOW, Jul 12 The World Boxing Association (WBA) has notified the world champion in light heavyweight Russian Dmitry Bivol about the need for a fight with the main contender Mexican Gilberto Ramirez, according to the organization's website. The parties have 30 days to negotiate the organization of the fight in accordance with the rules of the WBA. The deadline for the end of negotiations is August 10. Bivol on May 8 in Las Vegas (USA) defended his WBA Super light heavyweight title for the third time, defeating the Mexican Saul Canelo Alvarez by unanimous decision. Bivol is 31 years old, on account of the undefeated Russian in professional boxing 20 wins (11 by knockout). Ramirez, 31, has 44 wins (30 by knockout). He also never lost.
