MOSCOW, July 14, Oleg Bogatov. Olympic high jump champion Maria Lasitskene told reporters that she was glad for the continuity of generations in athletics and new people coming to this sport. On Thursday, Lasitskene won the All-Russian athletics competition «Grand Prix of the Moscow Region» in Erin.
" The most important thing for everyone is attitude. I am glad that these competitions are held for youth and juniors, and that there were many children. And I was glad to see everyone. The main thing is that we all tried today. And today Daniil (Khiryanov), a student of the school where I grew up, won. There is a continuity of generations, and it's great", — said the Olympic champion.
Daniil Khiryanov won the 110-meter hurdles among athletes under 16 years old in Erin.
