MOSCOW, Jul 15 Al-Kawkab football club from Saudi Arabia denied the information about the offer to striker «Manchester United» Cristiano Ronaldo contract for 250 million euros. Earlier edition AS reported that an unnamed team from Saudi Arabia offered «United» for the transfer of the Portuguese 30 million euros. The striker, under a two-year contract, was supposed to earn 250 million euros.
"The news linking the team with the Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo is not true. The player is out of the interests of the club", says "Al-Kawkab" on the page on Twitter.
Ronaldo's future at Manchester United has become uncertain after the team failed to break into the Champions League at the end of last season. In early July, it became known that the striker asked the management of United for permission to leave the club if there was a satisfactory offer. Ronaldo missed the start of the Red Devils' pre-season training camp for family reasons and did not fly to Bangkok, where the team is holding a pre-season tour.
