ARAF's implementation of the recovery roadmap. The working group will also organize an independent audit of ARAF processes, KPIs for the implementation of the recovery plan will be monitored. The audit will take place from mid to late October of this year, after which the working group will report the results of the internal audit to the council, which will meet in November», — Coe said at a press conference. In November 2015, the ARAF was temporarily deprived of its membership in World Athletics (then — IAAF ) against the backdrop of a doping scandal. Therefore, Russian athletes can compete in international competitions only after receiving the status of a neutral athlete from World Athletics. The World Athletics Congress on November 17, 2021 extended the suspension of the ARAF until all conditions for reinstatement are met.
