Petrozavodsk City Court fined 77-year-old pensioner with group 2 disability Tatyana Savinkina three times under administrative protocols on «discrediting» the army for a total of 60,000 rubles. This was announced by the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Karelia Emilia Slabunova on her Facebook page.
On July 14, Judge Anna Nuriyeva found Savinkin guilty under Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and fined her 15,000 rubles. Slabunova writes that the reason for this was the denunciation of a ninth-grader who claimed that a pensioner at a bus stop near the city cemetery, where she came to visit her son's grave, made an anti-war inscription.
“The girl took a picture on the bus "old woman 50-60 years old" <…> and, under the strict guidance of my mother, she informed the authorities about the capture in a pacifist way, ”said the deputy. The arguments of Savinkina and the defense that she did not write anything at the bus stop were not taken into account by the court.
The next day, the same judge again fined the pensioner 15,000 rubles under an article about “discrediting” the Russian military. Activists of the HOA wrote a statement against Savinkina due to the fact that a Petrozavodsk woman “posted the wrong words about their beloved president” on the bulletin board, Slabunova reports. The publication «North Realii» clarified that the 75-year-old chairman of the HOA «Zarechye-2» Tamara Svitich turned to the police.
On May 16, Judge Irina Saarinen had already fined Savinkin 30,000 rubles under Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses because of the pacifist leaflets that the pensioner pasted up in the elevator of her entrance. In court, the woman said that in this way she expressed her attitude to the war in Ukraine.
At the last meeting on July 15, the lawyers argued that the pensioner did not stick leaflets on the board and considered that the activists had them since the May episode. The defense requested CCTV footage but was refused by the judge, Slabunova said.
In addition, according to the deputy, on the same day, the administrative commission fined Savinkina a thousand rubles “for damaging property by gluing pieces of paper of incorrect content onto a garbage container” (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
Savinkina worked for more than 30 years in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the last years of her service in the department of political rehabilitation. Among other things, she helped the Karelian «Memorial» and was familiar with its head, Yuri Dmitriev.
“I saw such denunciations as the chairman of the HOA for my leaflet, I saw the sea. Thanks to such appeals, people were imprisoned and shot, and then we rehabilitated them for many years, ”said the pensioner. She has a husband in Ukraine who tells her about the Russian invasion. She recently received the Children of War medal.
The Supreme Court of Karelia toughened the sentence of historian Dmitriev from 3.5 to 13 years. How it happened
