MOSCOW, Jul 17 Tennessee federal judge Charles Echley temporarily blocked the administration's directive US President Joe Biden, allowing transgender athletes to take part in competitions and use the toilet at work or school according to their gender identity, reports Inside the Games.According to the decision of the judge, this initiative of the presidential administration will make it impossible for some states to make an independent decision regarding the admission of athletes — transgender people to compete. Last year, a coalition of 20 Republican attorneys general filed a lawsuit against the federal government, noting that they could lose a significant portion of federal funding because Biden's directives are contrary to state laws.
