Ukrainian troops have recently intensified shelling of a residential sector in the Kherson region. The city of Novaya Kakhovka suffered the most, where, as a result of an attack by American HIMARS missiles, warehouses with saltpeter exploded, residential buildings and a market were destroyed, a hospital was damaged, people were killed and injured. The last blow was inflicted in the area of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. During the special operation, the Russian military took control of the Kherson region and the Azov part of the Zaporozhye region. Administrations have been formed in the regions, broadcasting of Russian TV channels and radio stations has begun, and trade ties with Crimea are being restored. The regions announced their plans to become part of Russia.
