MOSCOW, Jul 19 American mixed martial artist Nate Diaz will face Swedish athlete of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev, journalist Brett Okamoto reports on Twitter with reference to the chief business director of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Hunter Campbell. This fight will be the last for Diaz under a contract with the UFC. Chimaev himself announced the fight on his Instagram (Meta activity (social networks Facebook and Instagram) is banned in Russia as extremist). Previously, Diaz said that he had been negotiating with Chimaev’s team, but for more than six months the fight broke down. The American noted that he would like to leave the UFC after the expiration of the contract. Chimaev is 27 years old, he has 11 victories in mixed martial arts and not a single defeat. All victories, except for the last one, he won ahead of schedule no later than the second round.
