Archival photoMOSCOW, July 21 It is more difficult for IDPs with Ukrainian citizenship to restore documents, as they are in the archives of Ukraine, said Tatyana Moskalkova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation. «There are differences in the requests of those who came from Ukraine and from the DPR and LPR. All of them receive the status of temporary asylum. But many citizens of Ukraine are faced with problems in restoring documents, because the documents are in Ukrainian archives and, of course, it is more difficult,» Moskalkova told RIA Novosti. She also noted that in Russia, the restoration of documents is carried out as quickly as possible. «The status of a temporary asylum is issued within three days. If there are no documents, we have mechanisms for their restoration,» the Ombudsman said. In addition, she noted that a decision was recently made that the passport people are not taken away if they are issued a temporary asylum document. «This enables them to exercise their rights more,» the authorized representative added.
