"There were no explosions in the city itself it was, these were explosions on its southern outskirts. Most likely, these are arrivals at the positions of heavy artillery, from which shelling of the liberated territory of the region was carried out yesterday. It was a blow to Zelensky’s militants,” he said.
On the eve of Rogov, he said that Ukrainian troops fired from these positions on settlements in the liberated territory, not far from the demarcation line. Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a military special operation to denazify and demilitarization of Ukraine. Vladimir Putin called its task «the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.» According to the president, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee the security of Russia itself. In mid-March, the Russian military took control of the Kherson and Azov parts of the Zaporozhye region. Civil-military administrations are working there, Russian TV channels and radio stations have begun broadcasting, trade ties with Crimea are being restored, and the ruble has been put into circulation. The liberated regions announced their plans to become part of Russia.
