MOSCOW, Jul 25 Ilya Borodin won the international competition «Games of friendship» and the Russian Cup final in Kazan at a distance of 400 meters in individual swimming. The athlete showed the result of 4 minutes 8.05 seconds, surpassing the Russian record (4.09.86). Borodin was joined by Maxim Stupin (4:16.23) and Alexei Sudarev (4:19.01). Olympic medalist in Tokyo Kliment Kolesnikov became a silver medalist in the 50-meter freestyle with a score of 22.06 seconds, losing to Daniil Markov (22 .01 seconds). Third place went to Andrey Zhilkin (22.31). Arina Surkova (25.89) took the lead in the women's 50-meter butterfly, Daria Klepikova (26.10) was second, Anastasia Kulyashova (26.13) from Belarus was third (26.13). Bronze of the Russian Cup went to Anita Grishchenko (26.63). International swimming competitions «Friendship Games» will last in Kazan until July 25. In March, the International Swimming Federation (FINA) suspended Russian and Belarusian athletes from participating in competitions due to the situation in Ukraine.
